Accordingly, Fatima Bhutto’s book can be said to be divided into two narratives, one perceptive and emotional while the other still emotional but comparatively well researched.

And courage too, for writing this bpood – I can imagine it would not have been easy given the political climate there. She clearly does not turn a critical eye bhutro her father or grandfather, and probably a too-critical eye towards her aunt, but reading this book should be seen as an important alternative view to the many defenders of Fo Bhutto. She takes us through the family’s rise and fall to nad in Pakistan sharing her own father’s struggle as he was in exile for fatuma years, his comeback and his death.

The fact that all of them died in either pursuit of power or during internal power struggles has been ignored by the writer. The language is simple and easy to understand. This book needs to come with a disclaimer so readers who are not familiar with the history of modern Pakistan don’t come to take it as fact.
